Metal Prints are created by using a sublimation process to fuse the image directly into the material. Metals are created on aluminum. They are my favorite way to display photography without a frame. If you intend to use a frame, lustre paper is the way to go. By default your metal print will come with a mount that attaches to the wall with a simple nail and extends the print away from the wall by 1/4 in. If you would like the Metal print w/o said mount, or are interested in a 1in mount option, please send me a request here

For Custom Sizing, Or any other questions you may have, please feel free to reach out to me here

Return PolicyI want you to be 100% satisfied with the print you decide to hang on your wall. If that is not the case for any reason please send me a message and we will get the situation sorted :)

A bit about how this photo came to be.

The hike up to the mint hut in hatcher pass alaska is a slog. 4 miles of bushwhacking through a swamp, and 3 miles where you gain 1k feet per mile.

My Alaskan crew was cooked and went to sleep pretty quick in the little red “mint hut” and woke up a few hours later for sunrise (it’s dark for maybe 4 hours in alaska during august), well everyone except for Matt, Matt likes his sleep and was conked out until we left around lunch.

After Sunrise grant offered to make coffee for the crew I walked up the hill for this perspective you see. Grant making coffee on the left, shelter to the right.

It was the best cup of coffee I’ve had. Could have had something to do with the immensely epic backdrop, the kind and dear friends, and just how badly I needed the coffee, but regardless, I still rank it as number one.

If you decide to put this print in your space, I hope it reminds you of beauty found both in the extraordinary (hatchers pass) and the everyday (morning coffee).

Warmly,

-Nate
